A full-time teaching opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position supports K-12 students, with services extending to individuals ages 0-22. The role is itinerant and requires in-person teaching, providing specialized instruction and support to meet diverse learning needs.

Job Duration: August 6, 2025 June 4, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized educational support and instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to accommodate various ages and learning needs from early childhood through young adulthood Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to integrate communication and assistive technologies Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Provide itinerant services by traveling between multiple school sites or locations as required Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal education guidelines Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching credential or certification specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education Experience working with students ranging from infancy to young adults in educational or therapeutic settings Strong knowledge of communication methods including sign language, auditory training, and assistive technology Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage an itinerant schedule This role is ideal for a dedicated educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners.
