A school psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming full school year in San Rafael, CA, serving elementary students. This contract position offers a full-time schedule (35 hours per week, with potential flexibility for additional hours) from August 15, 2025, through June 12, 2026.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development. Facilitate the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to address student needs. Manage a caseload spread across two elementary schools, supporting approximately 450 students at each site. Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Student Crisis Intervention Assessments (SCIAs), and academic evaluations as required. Work onsite daily, collaborating closely with school staff and families in a hands-on environment. Qualifications and Experience: Valid credential and certification for school psychology. Experience working with elementary school-aged children. Strong skills in psychological assessment, evaluation, and IEP development. Ability to handle a caseload of 4-6 assessments per month, balancing multiple schools effectively. Experience supporting diverse student populations. Excellent communication skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families. Location: San Rafael, CA (onsite position; remote work is not supported).
