A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year in a middle school setting serving a mild to moderate population. This role involves providing essential speech and language services through assessments, treatment, IEP development, and thorough documentation while managing a caseload of up to 55 students. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators and families to create and implement IEPs Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all caseload students Manage a caseload with a maximum of 55 students Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active or pending California SLP license, or eligibility to apply ASHA certification is advantageous; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Ability to work full-time, with some potential for part-time arrangements Location: El Cajon, CA (Middle School) This is a W2 contract position offering guaranteed hours for direct and indirect services.
