Provide essential behavior intervention support in an elementary school environment, assisting students with special education needs in both 1:1 and classroom settings. Key Responsibilities: Deliver behavior intervention support to students with mild, moderate, or severe behavioral needs. Assist in classroom and individual 1:1 settings to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Support toileting needs when required. Maintain clear and timely communication with the team and school staff. Adapt to changing needs and schedules with flexibility. Uphold safety protocols, including CPR, First Aid, and CPI standards where applicable. Qualifications: At least one year of experience working in schools, particularly with special education populations and behavior interventions. Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Willingness to assist with personal care such as toileting, if needed. CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Location & Schedule: Position based in Riverside, CA at an elementary school. Contract runs during the current school year (CSY). Work schedule consists of 6.5 hours daily, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch (approximately 30 hours per week). Potential opportunity to work as a substitute while awaiting full-time openings based on district needs.
