A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school in Talladega, AL. This role supports students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade with various communication needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, including teletherapy capabilities, and have experience working within school settings or healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy services for students with diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, articulation disorders, language delays, stuttering, and other health impairments. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students strengths and challenges. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress notes. Utilize teletherapy methods as needed to ensure continuity of care. Desired Qualifications: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within healthcare or educational settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent practical experience. Ability to deliver therapy both in-person and via teletherapy platforms. Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively.
