A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Sandusky, MI. This role focuses on providing psychological services within a school setting to promote student well-being, academic success, and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student needs
Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention plans
Providing counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and psychological services
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of assessments and interventions
Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
Experience working with K-12 student populations
Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Knowledge of special education laws and practices
