A full-semester contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a public school setting located in Bad Axe, MI. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administration to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans. Provide counseling and support to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Analyze student data to guide instructional strategies and interventions. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations. Desired Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Valid license or certification to practice as a School Psychologist in Michigan. Experience working with K-12 student populations, including conducting evaluations and counseling. Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessment tools, and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families. Ability to manage caseload effectively within a school environment.
