A Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving a high school caseload in Stockton, CA. This direct hire, contract position runs from August 6, 2025, through June 3, 2026, with in-person hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to high school students with special education needs. Manage a high school caseload, including developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet the academic and behavioral needs of students. Support students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) by applying effective behavioral and instructional strategies. Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and district special education regulations and guidelines. Qualifications and Preferred Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Experience working with high school students in special education settings. Background supporting students with Emotional Disturbance (ED) is highly valued. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required. Ability to work full-time on-site in a high school environment. Location: In-person role based in Stockton, California.
