We are seeking a skilled and reliable Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced retail environment on a 13-week contract. This role offers immediate start once cleared and provides an excellent opportunity to put your pharmacy knowledge to work in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Location: Clearwater, FL
Start Date: ASAP or once cleared
Responsibilities Process and fill prescriptions accurately.
Manage insurance adjudications and resolve claim rejections.
Prepare, package, and label medications for verification.
Perform data entry, maintain prescription records, and handle patient/provider communication.
Support inventory management through cycle counts, restocking, and expiration checks.
Assist with returns, quarantines, and destruction procedures.
Cross-train and support multiple pharmacy functions.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
National certification and active Florida Pharmacy Technician license required.
2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
Strong Microsoft Office and data entry skills.
Comfortable handling phone calls and multitasking in a busy setting.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
