This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position services a diverse K-12 student population in Solano County, CA. The role provides comprehensive speech and language therapy across pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting approximately 40 to 65 students with a range of disabilities. This contract opportunity spans the entire school year, offering consistent hours at 37.5 per week.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students with various disabilities, tailoring interventions to meet unique developmental needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective communication plans. Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methods and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) strategies to support nonverbal or minimally verbal students. Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in alignment with program standards. Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary evaluation and planning processes. Desired Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and certification. Experience working with pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students. Proven expertise in AAC and PECS implementation preferred. Ability to work effectively with students presenting diverse communication disorders and disabilities. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to foster collaborative partnerships.
