As we accelerate expansion in the United States—with a goal to triple our footprint over the next 3–4 years—we are hiring a Director of Construction & Facilities to support our business as we grow on this ambitious growth trajectory.

The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Director of Construction & Facilities to oversee the full lifecycle of our U.S. store development and operations — from new builds and renovations to ongoing maintenance and strategic sourcing.

This role will be a key member of the U.S. leadership team, responsible for building and leading a multidisciplinary team across construction, facilities, and procurement. The Director will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure that our stores are designed, built, and maintained to world-class standards that reflect the Joe & the Juice brand experience.

Key Responsibilities

New Store Development & Construction

  • Lead the end-to-end construction process for all U.S. store openings, from site feasibility to project handover.
  • Partner with real estate and design teams on site selection and design alignment.
  • Manage contractors, architects, engineers, and permitting consultants.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
  • Integrate health, safety, and sustainability initiatives into all projects.

Facilities Operations & Refurbishment

  • Oversee maintenance programs across all U.S. stores, with a focus on preventative maintenance and service-level excellence.
  • Implement systems for emergency repair response and maintenance ticketing.
  • Plan and manage store refurbishments and remodels.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and all relevant codes.

Procurement & Sourcing

  • Lead sourcing strategy for construction materials, services, and facilities needs.
  • Build and manage supplier partnerships, driving cost savings and quality standards.
  • Partner with global procurement to ensure alignment and ESG compliance.
  • Monitor supplier performance and negotiate contracts to maximize value.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing U.S. team across construction, facilities, and procurement.
  • Collaborate with operations, finance, real estate, and global leadership.
  • Provide reporting and insights on rollout progress, budgets, and procurement performance.
  • Represent the U.S. in global forums for construction and procurement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • Advanced certifications (PMP, LEED, OSHA) a plus.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in construction and facilities management.
  • Expertise in U.S. codes, permitting, and ADA requirements.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site rollouts and complex vendor networks.
  • Experience in procurement strategy and cost optimization.
  • Multi-state or national retail rollout experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, project management skills, and communication abilities.
