A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Fredericksburg, VA. This contract role, running from September 8, 2025, through May 29, 2026, offers the opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to elementary students (grades K-5). Key Responsibilities: Provide speech-language therapy to an estimated caseload of 15-20 elementary students. Deliver direct therapy services tailored to individual student needs using evidence-based practices. Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Utilize teletherapy methods as appropriate to enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies and regulations. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred. Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and best practices. Ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining high-quality therapeutic interventions. Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams. Eligible or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in speech-language pathology. Hours and Schedule: Part-time commitment of 15-25 hours per week, with potential to increase up to 30 hours. Work schedule aligned with the school calendar.
