Corporate Tax Accountant (716008)

Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal management review. Compile month-end and quarter-end closing reports. Help compile financial data required for reporting to government agencies, including the Bureau of Economic Analysis and applicable state departments. Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Support the preparation of corporate tax documents and coordinate filings in compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Perform other accounting and financial reporting tasks as assigned by management using ERP systems Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, in accordance with standard accounting procedures. Conduct joint interest billings (JIB) expense analysis. Reconcile cash call processes and ensure alignment between Cash call and JIB Assist to reconcile monthly oil and gas revenue entries, including depreciation, depletion, amortization (DD&A), and asset retirement obligations (ARO).
Assist to prepare quarterly IFRS reporting packages and consolidated financial reports. Assist to research on tax issues in mergers, acquisitions, and international transactions.
