Key Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state school license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred Strong assessment, therapy, and progress monitoring skills Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs Conduct assessments and document progress to inform instructional planning Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting Provide consultative support to teachers and staff to promote communication development Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with school policies Location: Elementary school setting in Joliet, Illinois Contract Details: Temporary leave replacement position Contract duration to be determined based on absence length Benefits of this role include gaining valuable experience in a school environment while positively impacting children's educational journeys.
