Full-Time About the Position:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
School Psychologist
to support the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral well-being of students within our community schools. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a close-knit, culturally rich environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students referred for academic or behavioral concerns.
Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary evaluation and IEP teams.
Provide consultation and support to educators, administrators, and families regarding student needs and interventions.
Deliver individual and group counseling to students as appropriate.
Assist with development and monitoring of individualized education programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
Promote culturally responsive practices that align with the values of the Ak-Chin community.
Qualifications:
Required: Masters, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
Valid Arizona certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and state special education regulations.
Experience with psychoeducational evaluations and behavior support planning.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of educators and families.
Preferred: Experience working with Indigenous or Native American student populations.
Familiarity with culturally sensitive and trauma-informed practices.
Bilingual (English/Spanish or Native language) a plus.
