Seeking skilled Teachers for the Visually Impaired to support K-12 students in Boston, MA. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational journeys by providing specialized instruction and support tailored to visually impaired learners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver individualized instruction for students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels Assess student needs and adapt curricula to fit accessibility requirements Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote inclusive education Utilize assistive technologies and tools to enhance learning experiences Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings and evaluations Desired Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) or related credential Experience working with K-12 visually impaired students Strong knowledge of braille, assistive technologies, and specialized instructional strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with families Patience, adaptability, and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment Location: Boston, Massachusetts
