A K-12 school in Cambridge, MA is seeking qualified Teachers for the Visually Impaired on a contract basis for the current school year (CSY). This role supports students with visual impairments, providing specialized instruction and tailored learning strategies to enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels. Develop and implement educational plans aligned with students IEPs (Individualized Education Programs). Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to ensure effective accommodations and resources. Utilize assistive technology and adapted materials to facilitate learning. Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Experience working with students who have visual impairments in a school setting. Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and visual impairment instructional strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to design and modify curriculum to meet diverse learner needs. Location:Cambridge, Massachusetts Contract Length:Current School Year (CSY) This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic growth of students with visual impairments.
