An opportunity is available for a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary-aged students in a school setting. This contract position runs from the current school year through the extended summer and next school year, providing a consistent and impactful role in student development.

Schedule: Full-Time, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Duration: ASAP through June 6, 2025, including Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY) Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to groups of 2-4 students, typically in 20-30 minute sessions Provide individualized one-on-one therapy, primarily for preschool-aged children and younger students Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to implement effective intervention plans Monitor and document student progress as part of ongoing treatment evaluation Maintain a supportive and encouraging environment to promote communication skills among students Qualifications/Experience: CA Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) credential Experience working with children in educational or healthcare settings preferred Ability to work effectively with small groups and one-on-one instruction Strong communication and organizational skills This position offers the chance to actively contribute to the communicative growth of children within a supportive school environment.
