A K-12 Special Education Teacher opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Manchester, CT. This contract position is designed for an experienced educator dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs across grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment. Use specialized instructional strategies to address varying disabilities and learning challenges. Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing feedback and modifications as needed. Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations relating to special education. Desired Qualifications: Valid state certification in Special Education. Experience teaching students with a range of disabilities within K-12 settings. Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education laws. Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
