A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for the current school year under a contract arrangement in New Britain, CT.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs. Deliver specialized instruction to students with disabilities from kindergarten through 12th grade. Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress and adapt instruction. Monitor and assess student performance and maintain accurate records. Attend IEP meetings, communicate student progress, and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals. Qualifications: Valid state certification in Special Education. Experience teaching students with varying disabilities across K-12 grade levels. Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior management. Ability to differentiate instruction and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Location: New Britain, Connecticut This contract position covers the current school year and provides the opportunity to positively impact students requiring specialized instruction.
