A K-12 Special Education Teacher is sought for a contract position in Madison, CT, to support students requiring individualized educational services. Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent and effective instruction. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communication. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages academic and social growth. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels. Strong knowledge of special education laws, assessment tools, and instructional strategies. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt instruction to meet varying student abilities. Location: Position is based in Madison, Connecticut, serving a K-12 school community. Position Details: Contract role for the current school year (CSY). Two openings available.
