A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services at an elementary school in Wilkes Barre, PA, for a leave replacement from September 10, 2025, through January 15, 2026. This role involves working five days per week, with shifts either from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

The student population includes those with Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Intellectual Disabilities (ID). Qualifications and desired experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology Background in healthcare or clinical settings preferred Ability to provide teletherapy services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent Experience working within school settings and collaborating with educational teams Key duties: Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to students specific needs Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success This contract position offers the chance to support diverse learners during a critical leave period.
