A speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed for a leave contract in an elementary school setting located in Hazleton, PA. This role supports students across both elementary and high school buildings situated on the same campus, providing critical therapeutic services to a diverse student body.

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. The position is scheduled for five days per week, with shifts running from either 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., depending on the building assignment. A half-hour unpaid lunch break is included in the schedule. Caseload responsibilities include: Providing services to approximately 55 students in grades K-6 at the elementary building Serving 10 ninth-grade students at the high school building on the same campus Working with students diagnosed with Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Intellectual Disabilities (ID) The contract period begins on September 10, 2025, and concludes on January 15, 2026. Qualifications and experience desired: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience in healthcare and pediatric settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy services Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred Experience working in school settings is essential This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified SLP to make a meaningful difference supporting students with a range of speech and language needs within an educational environment.
