A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting in Baltimore, MD, for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress in compliance with school policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Qualifications and Experience: Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school environment. Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs. Location: Baltimore, Maryland, within a public K-12 educational setting. Contract Details: Position duration: Full school year Contract placement with flexible scheduling aligned to the academic calendar. This role is ideal for an SLP seeking a meaningful contract placement focused on student growth and collaborative educational support.
