A school district in Long Beach, CA is seeking two full-time Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students from Pre-K through age 22 during the 202425 school year. These contract positions offer an opportunity to work onsite within a dynamic K-12 educational setting.

Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of students, addressing a variety of communication disorders. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities. Qualifications: Active California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Experience working in school-based settings preferred but not required. Ability to work effectively across a wide age range, from preschool through young adults. Bilingual Spanish-English skills are a strong plus, though not mandatory. Licenses or experience with SLP Assistant (SLPA) roles and teletherapy are advantageous.
