A full-time Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is needed to provide specialized support across PreK-12 schools within a local Supervisory Union in Brandon, VT. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, spanning early childhood to high school, while delivering both in-person and teletherapy services.

Responsibilities include: Providing occupational therapy services to students in 8 different schools, with most locations 15-20 minutes apart and the furthest up to 50 minutes. Collaborating closely with the district OT to manage a shared caseload of approximately 50-55 students each, maintaining a balanced workload. Deploying expertise in gross motor skills development and school-based therapy. Offering teletherapy interventions in addition to traditional home health and healthcare occupational therapy approaches. Assessing, planning, and implementing customized therapy plans that support student success in academic and functional goals. Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and supervisory requirements. Qualifications and desired experience: Valid Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Experience in school-based occupational therapy, home health, or teletherapy settings. Strong skills in gross motor skill assessment and intervention. Ability to travel within the Supervisory Union to serve multiple schools efficiently. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals. This position is a contract engagement starting ASAP, with a full school year duration and an itinerant schedule that promises variety and professional growth.
