The Administrative Assistant provides general administrative support for the Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) and assists with secretarial duties such as composing and typing correspondence, maintaining department files, and assisting with monitoring of department budgets. The role also provides administrative support to other Community Managers. High school diploma or GED.

No experience required.

Prior office experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of standard office machines and equipment. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Must be able to write business correspondence and procedure manuals. Demonstrated ability to present information in a clear, concise manner and respond professionally to questions from clients, customers, and the public. Must possess basic mathematical ability to include calculation of discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages and can solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
