Position Summary

The National Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and growing key client relationships for the DEUTZ Power Center (DPC) Network, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. They develop and implement strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions. The role involves frequent travel to meet clients, oversee service delivery, and attend industry events. Effective communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills are essential for success in this role. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national accounts to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Foster customer loyalty and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address client needs. Work with the Sales Director to align on sales strategies and objectives. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. Utilize and interpret syndicated volume and pricing data to support ongoing pricing activities and drive value capture. Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Director on account performance and market trends. Monitor and report on key performance indicators and financial metrics. Lead change management programs and talent development initiatives. Participate in capability-building workshops and training programs to stay updated on best practices. Ensure that all reporting is submitted in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Travel

Travel: Frequent weekly travel within the territory, with quarterly travel to other local and outside assigned territory locations may be required with overnight stays. Qualifications

Education/Experience Required Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Decision Sciences. 12+ years of work experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, particularly in sales/account management within manufacturing, project, services, or R&D environments. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros). Experience in diesel engine, automobile, manufacturing, or service sectors. Preferred Additional required skills include excellent communication, attention to detail, strong time/priority management, ability to work independently, data analysis and solution-driven mindset, and basic MS Office proficiency. Language/Technical Skills

Read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak effectively before groups. Proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel. Work Environment & Physical Demands
