Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AI Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The AI Business Analyst will serve as a bridge between business operations, project teams, and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. This role focuses on leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and support long-term strategic initiatives. This position is based out of our North American headquarters in Columbia, Maryland; candidates must reside within a commutable distance as relocation is not offered for this position. US Citizenship is required for this role.
Responsibilities
Configure and deploy AI agents (preferable based on ChatGPT/OpenAI platforms) tailored to team needs, ensuring seamless integration into daily workflows, using the R&S specific AI environment. Assist teams in quickly assessing, grading, and evaluating RFIs, solicitations, and related requests using AI-enhanced analysis. Support drafting of proposals artifacts (e.g. requirements traceability matrixes), various specific project deliverables based on R&S guidelines and customer requirements (e.g. specific DID structure for various CDRLs), and presentations by using AI tools to generate, refine, and standardize content, based on dialogue with the relevant R&S stakeholders. Interface with the R&S AI implementation specialist and contribute to the enhancements. Collect and distribute group level knowledge within the RSA organization to create efficiencies. Act as the AI champion within the organization and augment the AI capabilities throughout the organization by specific workshops and agents. Work closely with the leadership to identify performance indicators to measure the AI adherence within the organization. Provide analytical support for project teams, enabling data-driven insights that inform project decisions and performance tracking. Partner with business operations to apply AI and analytics toward long-term planning, such as scenario modeling and operational efficiencies. Use AI-powered platforms to analyze large amounts of structured and unstructured data, including financial filings, expert calls, customer reviews, and social media. Identify and monitor emerging market trends, new technologies, and shifting customer preferences to develop data driven recommendations. Track competitor activities, product roadmaps, marketing efforts, and overall market positioning. Qualifications
BS in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, or Business Administration with a strong focus on AI and data analytics. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, programming languages (like Python and SQL), statistics, and a foundational understanding of AI and business strategy. Hands-on experience with AI tools and automation platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate business needs to AI-driven solutions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to support complex proposal or project workflows. Location: Columbia, MD Compensation & Benefits
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr The total compensation for this position includes base salary, variable pay where applicable, and benefits. The range is determined by position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by location, education or training, relevant work history, and job-related skills.
