Regional Pricing Manager Americas
to lead and optimize pricing strategies for our freight forwarding operations across North and South America. The Pricing Manager role is the dedicated pricing leader for their region. This role requires a deep understanding of freight forwarding, international logistics, and cost structures in ocean, air, and land transport. The role will also be responsible for structuring regional key account pricing, supporting regional pricing quotes and solutions, and actively participating in tenders and RFQ pricing. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepare competitive, high-quality proposals in response to forwarding RFQs/RFIs/RFPs closely cooperating with other Tender Management Teams, Bid Owner, and Product as well as support functions Act as a pricing leader on the opportunities at hand, leading the opportunity to success by bringing together the necessary stakeholders and providing them with clear guidelines and milestones and ensure understanding of the same Manage and lead the Tender Management team and regional pricing resources Give guidance to the Region and Country pricing teams Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies for the Americas region to maximize revenue and profitability Manage and lead the Tender Management team and regional pricing resources Work closely with commercial leadership, sales and procurement, to align pricing strategies with business objectives Maintain and enhance pricing sheets, databases, and cost models to ensure accurate and efficient rate management Support regional and global pricing initiatives, contributing to standardized processes and best practices Provide timely and strategic pricing responses for RFQs, tenders, and spot rate inquiries Structure regional key account pricing, ensuring competitive and sustainable pricing models Support regional pricing quotes and solutions, collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored pricing strategies Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and international trade regulations Lead tenders as a bid-manager Develop competitive proposals Develop and maintain TM Team in-house pricing knowledge with the usage of Tools Facilitate the TM Process and act as Bid manager in cooperating closely with all key stakeholders involved. (Bid Owner, Product, TM Teams, ISPs) Ensure Post Bid Analysis and/or After-Actions Reviews are being performed by the bid owners for all bids, both successful and unsuccessful tenders. Ensure the received tender feedback is shared with relevant functions in the organization. Update own lead tenders in bid log Give guidance to the country and regional pricing teams Should adhere to good business practice Respond and assist on RFI / RFQ requests Ensure compliance with Tender Management processes and guidelines Ensure timely, accurate and quality responses are delivered towards the customer Interface with other functional groups such as IT, Legal, Security, Product, Key Account QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain, logistics, or related field (Masters degree preferred) Minimum 5-7 of experience in pricing, procurement within freight forwarding Strong knowledge of ocean, air, and ground freight models and cost structure Experience in managing RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations with carriers and suppliers Proficiency in data analysis, pricing software, and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) Procurement and/or Tender Management experience required Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strategic mindset Ability to work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Fluency in English required; Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus Understanding of North America and LATAM logistics markets ABOUT DP WORLD
