Compensation: $ 70,000 $90,000+ DOE, before commissions and bonus

About this position : Advantech is seeking a driven and consultative Account Manager to join our sales team and expand our presence in the North American marketplace. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong communication skills, sales acumen, and an interest in emerging technologies. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager team is focused on new account penetration, net new sales revenue growth, and vertical market expansion. Metrics for success include lead conversion into new opportunities, accurately managing the pipeline and forecasted revenue, tracking and converting the opportunities into new sales revenue, and exhibiting monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales growth.

Responsibilities :

Prospect, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, social media outreach, and virtual seminars Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to customer needs and market trends Conduct consultative sales conversations and product demos Promote Advantech products at virtual/in-person events and trade shows Prepare and deliver business proposals and OEM solutions for key accounts Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM pipeline management (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Collaborate internally to ensure smooth customer onboarding and account support

Required Qualifications :

3+ years of professional sales experience, ideally in tech, SaaS, or embedded computing Strong written and verbal communication skills Bachelors degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) Professional home office setup (if 100% remote)

Preferred Qualifications :

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required Self-starter, team player, positive attitude who can work independently Understanding of embedded systems, industrial PC (hardware and software) is a plus Customer-centric, consultative and passion for excellence in sales Experience with solution-based or consultative selling Strong LinkedIn or social media presence for business development Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Experience working in B2B sales, startups, or fast-paced environments
