Overview

Head of School, Population Health UNSW Faculty of Medicine & Health Location: Health Translation Hub, UNSW Kensington, Sydney, Australia. This is a full-time academic leadership role (35 hours/week) at Professor (Level E) term appointment for 5 years initially, with ongoing substantive Professorship in Population Health. Relocation and visa sponsorship may be offered where required. Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership for the School of Population Health, reporting to the Faculty Dean. Lead the development and implementation of innovative teaching and learning offerings and research programs within the School and across the Faculty and its partners. Align and integrate the Schools teaching and research with the broader Faculty and UNSW strategic objectives. Manage teaching and research quality and impact within the School, ensuring alignment to Faculty and UNSW strategic goals. Lead and oversee academic staff and the School Manager as direct reports. Qualifications and Skills

A PhD in a relevant discipline with an outstanding research record, evidenced by funding, publications, esteem markers, and impact translation. Proven leadership experience in a university, health system, or professional setting. Distinguished record in teaching and learning contributions at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Desirable: track record of innovation in education and development of new programs. Ability to engage with key stakeholders in national and international professional organisations and government. Demonstrated capacity to lead conduct of research, education delivery, and broader health system management or change management. Benefits and Culture
