Overview
Desktop Technician III Project: Desktop resources to assist in the support of PCs, printers, and RF devices used by Global Logistics. Support can consist of day-to-day trouble calls or user requests, supporting ongoing projects related to these types of devices and routine device maintenance/upkeep. The resource will support roughly 300 end users with approximately 25 tickets per shift, per person. Responsibilities
Support day-to-day trouble calls or user requests for PCs, printers, and RF devices. Support ongoing projects related to these devices and perform routine device maintenance/upkeep. Communicate with end users at various levels within the organization and provide excellent customer service. Assist with ticketing and follow-up using the ServiceNow system. Work in a Windows XP Windows 10 environment and coordinate with the Network Engineer for basic networking needs. Qualifications and Skills
Technologies: Windows XPWindows 10, Microsoft Office, LaserJet printers, Zebra label printers, AS 400 (Client Access preferred), RF devices with wireless network connectivity, and Warehouse Management Systems Manhattan PkMS and RedWorks Pick-to-Light. Troubleshooting: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel; Windows 10; Active Directory; general hardware troubleshooting; Wireless technology. Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system. Strong communication skills for end-user support. Basic networking skills to communicate with the Network Engineer. Nice-to-have: Network+ certification, CompTIA A+ certification. Work environment: Warehouse setting. Workplace
Fully onsite position in Tracy, CA. Pay and Benefits
Pay range: $25.00$27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
