Note: This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel may be required. Duties and Responsibilities

Perform complex chemical, biological, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests. Examine and analyze body fluids and cells; match blood for transfusions. Familiarity with AABB requirements for blood products is required. Analyze chemical content of fluids and test for drug levels in blood. Prepare specimens, count cells, and identify abnormal cells in blood and body fluids. Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians. Culture body fluids and tissue samples to detect microorganisms. Test chemical content or reactions; determine concentrations of compounds like glucose and cholesterol. Evaluate test results; develop and modify procedures; monitor testing programs for accuracy. Follow universal safety precautions to protect against biohazards. Order supplies, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and manage lab equipment and records. Provide supervision or act as Lead, guiding other technologists and technicians. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications

Completed a formal Medical Technology training program leading to a Bachelor's Degree. Certified by AMT, ASCP, or NCA. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Medical Technologist. At least 1 year in a Lead role. Recent clinical experience in direct patient care within the last 6 months. Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, organized, and communicate effectively. Proficiency with computers and MS Office. Flexibility to adapt to shift changes as needed. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficient in English communication. Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
