Sr. Mammography Technologist, Per Diem (Sign-on bonus eligible) ANC Radiology Multi Mod POPC Per Diem Location: Burlingame, CA (Peninsula Outpatient Center POPC). All Technologists must be willing to assist at any UCSF Medical Center Locations as needed. Job Summary

***New hires are eligible for a sign on bonus*** This position is located at the Peninsula Outpatient Center (POPC) in Burlingame, CA. All Technologists must be willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations as needed. Sr. Mammography Technologist: A CRT licensed Mammography Technologist performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. This technologist must be able to produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. This technologist is able to interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care. This technologist is able to evolve with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems. This technologist must participate in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance. Additionally, this Mammography Technologist must be willing to train and interact with students and new hires when necessary. Principle Mammography Technologist: Is responsible for having a current CRT with the State of California and a current Mammography Certification with the State of California. The Principle Technologist is responsible for performing screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound and all interventional and invasive procedures in the Mammography Department. Complies with all regulatory mandates for mammography. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Please note: Compensation ranges online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are wide; however offers typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point, based on experience and current UCSF salaries. Perform screening and diagnostic mammography imaging with attention to quality and regulatory standards. Coordinate patient care with clinicians and other departments; interact with RIS and PACS systems. Participate in performance improvement activities and maintain quality control records; assist with equipment testing and maintenance. Train and interact with students and new hires as needed. Required Qualifications

Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school. Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays. Must be willing to assist at any UCSF Medical Center Locations. Principle Mammography Technologist level requires minimum of 5 years of Mammography experience with

Proof of mammography training of at least 40 documented hours (if certified after April 27, 1999). Proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24 months). Certificates of at least 15 CEUs in the last 36 months, including at least 6 CEUs in each mammography modality used. MQSA approved 3D Tomosynthesis training.

Sr. Mammography Technologist level requires minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience with

BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification Proof of mammography training of at least 40 documented hours (if certified after April 27, 1999). Proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24 months). Certificates of at least 15 CEUs in Mammography in the last 36 months (rolling 36 months). MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training. Initial 25 supervised mammograms.
