Remote Full time Business Integration Group is looking for a competent and experienced Certified Scrum Master to support a fast-paced application development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for facilitating several small agile teams delivering value to the customer. The candidate will help educate the self-organizing teams in Scrum or Kanban to follow the agile process. The candidate will help remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement. Description

The selected candidate will work with other Agile Scrum Masters and support personnel to ensure the team's commitments. The candidate will be responsible for sensing, determining, and leading discussions when issues need to be analyzed or triaged. This position will have oversight in deciding and implementing process improvements. Required Qualifications: TS.SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph required. Responsible for facilitating self-organizing team(s) to ensure the team is making progress against commitments. Protects the team from scope creep. Removes impediments for the team and coordinates with the Product Owner in implementing solutions. Helps team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate. Ensures that the team has a clear understanding of the Definition of Done and how to meet it. Supports and enforces Scrum process and other rules. Coordinates with other teams on the Agile Release Train (ART) and communicates status to management. Works with the Product Owner(s) to review and prioritize features. Leads and facilitates Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, sprint review, demos, sprint retro, and planning. Works with Product Owner(s) to develop User Stories to meet the Feature acceptance criteria. Maintains and generates information radiators for the teams. Collects and shares team metrics with the team, determines when new metrics are needed, and develops metric improvements. Coaches teams on agile and scrum principles with a goal of continuous improvement. Observes team dynamics while recognizing strengths and weaknesses of individual team member contributions. Coaches the team as a whole, driving productivity improvements. Creates a fun sharing and learning environment, experimenting with various ideas to improve delivery, including pair-programming and cross-functional training. Promotes teamwork to achieve sprint goals. Leads teams towards agile maturity. Optional Qualifications: Experience supporting Federal government project. Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, concepts, and contributions to developing innovative principles and ideas. Experience working in a dynamic, multifaceted environment. Acts independently to expose and resolve challenges.
