Human Resources Administrator

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. In this contract-to-permanent role, you will support the Human Resources department with administrative tasks, recordkeeping, reporting, and coordination of various employee programs and events. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating department-related information for monthly and quarterly reporting, as well as preparing routine and ad hoc data requests. You will provide administrative support such as coordinating mailings, managing employee communication systems, and ensuring compliance with filing and scanning processes. You will also coordinate company discount programs and respond to employment verification requests in line with company guidelines. You will facilitate employee programs, including bereavement support, service awards, and tuition reimbursement initiatives. You will manage the ordering and inventory of department supplies to maintain operational efficiency. You will collaborate with the team to address additional administrative tasks as needed to support business objectives. Requirements include proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience working with and maintaining a fully functional HRIS system is required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in reporting and recordkeeping are necessary. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively in a team-based environment is essential. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive employee data is required. Excellent communication skills to interact with employees and external stakeholders professionally are needed.
