Marquette, Michigan . In this role, youll be the go-to expert for our IT environmentkeeping our identity systems, networks, servers, and applications secure, healthy, and reliable. Youll work with a diverse mix of technologies, from on-premises servers and VMware to cloud-based business applications like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365, all while helping us stay connected across multiple sites and subsidiaries. Manage our hybrid identity: Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO. Keep endpoints secure and running smoothly with imaging, patching, software deployment, and remote support. Maintain Windows Servers, backups, disaster recovery jobs, and VMware infrastructure. Support multi-site networksincluding firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and ISP/vendor coordination. Oversee applications and cloud services, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and more. Champion security best practices: MFA, patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, and monitoring. Collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues with patience and professionalism. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR. 3 or more years of systems administration experience, or experience in a similar role supporting hybrid work environments preferred. Associates degree or technical certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline preferred. Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, DNS/DHCP, GPO, and remote endpoint management tools. Familiarity with VMware, backup/DR solutions, and network fundamentals (VPN, VLANs, Wi-Fi, firewalls). PowerShell scripting and automation experience. Strong communication skillsyou can explain technical details clearly and work well with non-technical teammates. A proactive problem solver who pays attention to detail and follows through.
