Regional Sales Manager
Remote with frequent travel in Central United States. This position will be located at a virtual home office with frequent travel to client sites, potential client sites, and industry events across the United States. Preferred regional location would be Central United States in the central corridor. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Achieve year over year sales growth and profitability goals Manage the Sales Channels in its region Reps, Distributors and others Develop the Strategic Sales Plan for its region based on market knowledge and data, collecting inputs from the channels Responsible to create and maintain long term relationships with key customers, identifying key stakeholders and anticipating their needs to create demand Strong negotiation skills to establish long term frame agreements and partnerships Influence customer specifications to increase the customer wallet share Establish KPIs to sales partners to monitor performance to increase order intake Collect data and market information such as customer purchase behaviors, external trends, competition landscape to define winning strategies Deliver quality consultant advice to the customer to become a trustworthy partner Develop campaigns to promote products Ensure participation in key relevant customer events such as trade shows Make product presentations for a technical audience Understand competition landscape, pricing, technology, trends to anticipate competition movements Provide market data to Product Management to support future products roadmap Create sales forecast with probability of deal closure Review customer RFQs and execute quotes Follow up on quotes Visit customers, Reps, distributors and EPCs within assigned region You should be able to: Understand Generation, Transmission and Distribution Utilities set up and operations Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles related to insulators, insulation coordination and standards applicable Comfortable with customer interactions and sales channels Produce technical and commercial documentation Collect, analyze and compare data to deliver key data for decision making processes Be a team player, visionary, dedicated and self-motivated Effectively communicate verbally and written Have a relentless positive attitude Comply with all company policies with high level of integrity Produce results while working independently Collaborate across multi-cultural team Get buy-in without formal authority across multiple departments Multitask under pressure and deliver the expected results Demonstrate a high level of self-initiative and resourcefulness to define and create winning strategies Achieve performance objectives with minimal supervision Self-started and creative to define strategies to win Required Education and Experience College degree in Engineering or Business 3+ years in Electrical Utility, OEM or Distributor sales business Experience in B2B organizations selling technical products CRM experience (SalesForce) strongly preferred Skills/Qualifications Ability to travel 50-60% of the time High level of Integrity, complying with all company policies Work safely and lead safe behavior for the sales channels on its region Experience on CRM (SalesForce) and Office 365 tools Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Higher Recruitment, Inc. by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
