As a Senior Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Intelligence (CI) SA you will be a leader with deep technical and business expertise influencing the AWS field on sales strategy and helping to design cloud-native solutions for their customers. You will develop and maintain cloud migration and modernization acumen across AWS and other public cloud offerings. You will document and share your insights to scale your expertise, and will also use these insights to improve our product offerings, and go-to-market campaigns. The ideal candidate understands the public cloud and has a passion for continual learning about new cloud offerings and industry developments. You must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both C-level executives and technical decision makers. You should have a proven track record as a consultant, advisor, or stakeholder delivering cloud-native solutions. Key responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on GCP technology and GCP’s go-to-market strategy. Consult with field SAs and BDs to analyze customers’ business and technical requirements and determine how needs can be met by AWS. Present recommendations and designs to customers, engaging with business executives (CxOs) and technical audiences (Architect/Director). Analyze trends and competitive offerings to generate technical and business insights. Foster a community of compete specialists who leverage insights. Create technical content (decks, whitepapers, recordings). Deliver technical presentations and trainings to field SAs, BDMs, and product stakeholders. Deliver operational excellence managing a pipeline of technical engagements with rapid delivery and frequent reprioritization. Basic Qualifications
4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience 6+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) 4+ years of enterprise technology experience 4+ years experience architecting cloud solutions in GCP Computer Science/Technical degree or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud 4+ years working in AWS specializing in compute, storage, databases, ML/AI, and analytics 4+ years experience architecting cloud solutions in AWS Strong verbal and written communication skills Foundational cloud certifications or the ability to achieve within 90 days Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected status.
