ScyllaDB We seek a talented, high-performing / high-energy Account Manager to formulate and execute a sales strategy that results in revenue growth in both new and existing accounts. Collaborating with the Sales Development Representative and Solutions Architect teams, you will prepare account strategies and plans and constantly initiate new contacts through phone outreach, social networking, and email campaigns to increase our customer base.
Your Responsibilities:
Consistently identify, prospect, qualify, and develop your sales pipeline through outreach strategies and by collaborating with your SDR team. Build and nurture effective relationships as you guide prospects through a software acquisition cycle, from discovery through Proof-of-Concept and then contract negotiation and close, working with multiple stakeholders. Create proposals that address customer needs that inspire them to become ScyllaDB Enterprise and ScyllaDB Cloud customers. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date forecast and funnel as you exceed your monthly, quarterly, and annual quota. Hunter mentality and knows how to open new doors via phone calls emails etc Collaborate with Marketing to conduct seminars, trade shows, and other marketing-related events. Communicate and collaborate with your VP of Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure the adoption, retention, and expansion of ScyllaDB in your growing portfolio of highly visible clients
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience selling B2B enterprise technology with someone who is a hungry up-and-comer and wants to grow with a hot startup Language - Fluency in Portuguese required; professional proficiency in Spanish preferred. Preferred location - Miami Ideally has sold NoSQL database technology to IT with Infrastructure teams. Knowledge of Open Source and cloud technologies is a plus Has existing IT/Enterprise Architecture/Business Rolodex/relationships in the patch they currently reside and sell to Goal-oriented, with a track record of overachievement (Presidents Club, Rep of the Quarter/Year, etc.) Driven, possessing a strong desire to grow and learn as a key contributor in a Series C startup Experienced with complex sales methodologies, ideally MEDDPICC Open to feedback and coaching as you hold yourself accountable Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as an attention to detail necessary to create compelling ROI and value propositions and document in Salesforce crm Intelligent, having an aptitude to learn quickly to establish credibility and to creatively apply the ScyllaDB solution to an expanding set of customer use cases Is a team player and understands collaboration Is not afraid to knock down doors and knows pipeline generation is paramount to over-achievement and success Seniority level
