About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Maritime Supply Chain, a pivotal leadership role with a focus on the strategic direction and operational execution of the global maritime supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the supply chain, from sourcing and procurement to logistics, warehousing, and distribution. This role requires a seasoned executive with a deep understanding of the maritime industry, particularly in the context of government defense contracting. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy, overseeing purchasing, subcontracts, and logistics, leading strategic sourcing and procurement, managing warehousing and distribution, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The VP will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing team, managing stakeholder relationships, and staying abreast of industry trends.
Applicants for the Vice President, Maritime Supply Chain position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years' experience in supply chain management, including a minimum of 5 years in a Director-level position or above.
