Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and counselors, to support student development. Maintain accurate records on student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification for Kansas is required (provisional or emergency certifications are not accepted). Experience working with middle school students, particularly in Life Skills or similar self-sufficiency programs. Strong classroom management and individualized instructional planning skills. Effective communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues.
