LHH is assisting a client in Charlotte, NC with their need for a

Construction Accounting & Administrative Assistant . This is a newly created position and a great opportunity to join an established organization. This is an onsite, direct hire opportunity. Construction industry experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable for projects, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and vendor management.

Setting up new projects in the system.

Maintain project budgets, track expenses, and prepare cost reports for project managers and leadership.

File, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and compliance paperwork.

Working with subcontractors and maintaining the subcontractor database.

Maintaining Certificates of Insurance.

Working with lien waivers.

Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors regarding financial and administrative matters.

Answering phones, ordering office supplies, retrieving mail, maintaining filing system and other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

Previous experience in accounting or administrative support; experience in construction industry is a plus.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and construction project management processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, onsite position; with standard business hours, offering some flexibility within reason.

Pay Details:

$50,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year
