A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for a contract position starting immediately through May 29. This role supports students from preschool through 8th grade across two school locations in Oakland, CA, with an approximate caseload of 35 students.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to children in an elementary school setting. Assess and develop individualized intervention plans to support students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and service delivery. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure. Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with preschool to middle school-aged children. Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students. Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with school staff and families. Knowledge of educational regulations and IEP processes preferred. Location: Two school sites in Oakland, California serving preschool through 8th grade students. Contract Details: Immediate start with an end date of May 29. School-year contract position.
