Key Responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment services to K-12 students. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students' functional performance and participation in school activities. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines. Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working in school settings with K-12 students preferred. Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques, sensory processing, and developmental milestones. Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educational staff and families. Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs. Location: Situated in Oakland, California, providing services within a vibrant and diverse schooling community.
