We are hiring Assistants and Substitutes for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Mamaroneck Central Elementary School in Larchmont, NY.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt PAY RATE: $16.50 per hour OPEN ROLES: Assistants, Substitutes HOURS: Monday Wednesday 7:30 AM 9:30 AM, and Monday Friday 3:30 PM 6:00 PM as needed
WHAT OUR BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL TEAM DOES:
Lead hands-on activities guided by the Healthy Kids Curriculum this includes fitness, STEAM, arts, academics, group games, and supporting homework time. Create a safe, positive, and engaging space for kids, serving as a strong role model. Stay in touch with families via the Playground App to share daily updates. Follow all state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the host schools procedures. Some positions may include light administrative duties like tracking attendance, registration, and helping coordinate staff.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN US:
Youre at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children under 13 is great, but not required we value enthusiasm and potential! Youre medically cleared to perform job responsibilities and free from communicable illnesses, including TB. Friendly, dependable, and energetic you know how to connect with kids, parents, and teammates, and you always bring a professional attitude. Able to move with ease, lift up to 50 lbs, and keep up with an active group of children!
