Were currently seeking passionate individuals to fill several roles in our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 academic year at Robert Graves Elementary School in Port Ewen, NY.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt ROLES AVAILABLE: Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, Directors PAY RANGE: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour (dependent on position, qualifications, and experience)
THE BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Leading engaging activities including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, group games, and supporting homework completion. Creating a safe, healthy, and enjoyable environment while being a positive role model for children. Communicating regularly with parents and guardians via the Playground App. Following all state regulations, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program guidelines, and school policies. Select roles may also handle administrative responsibilities like maintaining attendance, overseeing registration, and supporting staff scheduling.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but not mandatory we value your enthusiasm and potential! Medically cleared to fulfill all job-related tasks and free from communicable diseases (including TB). Friendly, energetic, and dependable. Strong interpersonal skills are a must for working with children, families, and teammates. Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and stay physically active to match the energy of the kids!
