As a key member of the finance team, this accounting role will support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgeting processes, and overall financial strategy. This role is ideal for an individual looking to advance their accounting career within a collaborative and mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
- Participate in the month-end close process
- Review designated general ledger accounts and associated activity
- Oversee the Accounts Payable and Account Receivable processes
- Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies promptly and effectively
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects and analysis
- Allocate expenditures to appropriate accounts per company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Help coordinate the workload of the accounting team
- Provide coaching and training to the accounting staff
- Collaborate directly with senior leadership and top management

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of progressively responsible accounting experience (relevant coursework may substitute for up to one year of experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
