$25.00/Hour Job Duties (Responsibilities)

Job Summary:

The HR Generalist supports the daily operations of the HR department by providing administrative and operational assistance across HR functions while partnering closely with People & Culture Business Partners. Serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, offering guidance on HR processes. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Maintain employee personnel records, manage HR documentation, and ensure accuracy in HR systems. Assist with document preparation and other assigned administrative tasks. Coordinate training sessions, track employee participation, maintain learning records, and support rollout of development programs. Employee Relations: Act as point of contact for employee inquiries, address concerns confidentially, facilitate conflict resolution, and support a positive work environment. Handle compliance and investigation-related activities. Compliance & Records: Manage document retention, audit bulletin boards for compliance, and maintain HR folders. HRIS & Data Management: Maintain HR systems, ensure data accuracy, generate reports, and support digital transformation/process improvements. Disciplinary & Employment Action: Prepare and execute disciplinary actions with assistance from People & Culture Business Partner. Assist leaders with offboarding processes. Culture & Engagement: Support initiatives that promote company culture, values, and employee engagement.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based, in-person role with occasional travel for site events or training sessions. Reports to: People & Culture Business Partner. Contract: One year, with option to hire. Schedule: Four days onsite. Pay: $25.00/hour.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role for a large organization. Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS platforms. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience working with SAP and SuccessFactors preferred.
